Chris is excited for another summer with the Cahunas! He has more than 15 years of coaching experience in the Northland Conference and over a decade as the current Head Age Group coach with the year-round Tsunami Swim Team.

A KC native, Chris grew up swimming in the Northland Conference and with local year-round teams, most notably Tsunami Swim Team. After swimming high school at Park Hill South, he continued at Missouri State University while getting a degree in Psychology. Upon graduation, he finished his racing career at the 2012 Olympic Trials in the 100m and 200m breast.

Chris' passion is in connecting with swimmers while teaching them the stroke fundamentals and other valuable skills that give them the confidence to overcome new challenges. Through this, they can find both fun and passion in this life-long sport!
